Since moving here to Murrells Inlet, South Carolina in May of 2007 I have started photographing the birds of the area especially around the bays and marshes to keep myself occupied in my retirement.

My favorite place is Huntington Beach State Park where there are sand beaches, salt water marshes and fresh water marshes.

There are Egrets, Herons, alligators, Osprey and many smaller birds that live in the area.
