BlueGrass
Sawgrass was formed in 1999 in
Pawleys Island, South Carolina. Founding members, Jody Harrison and Rob
Steuer, are dedicated to creating an experience with original vibes. Emphasis is placed on incorporating the varied musical influences of all
band members including traditional Bluegrass, Newgrass and Jam-Band
styles. From this musical soup emerges a unique edge that Sawgrass refers
to as AcoustiLectric BlueGrass.
Over the years, Sawgrass
has been the opening act for many great bands including:

The Nashville Bluegrass Band
The Marshal Tucker Band
Sawgrass has been joined
on-stage by Mark Bryan from Hootie and the Blowfish as well as Alan
Bibey of Blueridge.
