
Mirrored Embossed Fade Into Background
1. Open the graphic you want to use. I keep mine at 300 width (Resize as necessary).

2. Press Shift D to duplicate your image, now close the original image.
3. Take Image #1 (which is the duplicate image)
Choose Effects/Plugins/FM Tools/Blend Emboss using the default settings. (I do this twice for a more embossed look). Your image should look like this

4. Image 1 Edit/Copy then Edit pate as a new image (You now have two embossed images.
5. Select Image #2 now choose Image/Mirror then Shift D to duplicate.
**At this point you should have 3 images..#1 Embossed, #2 Embossed Mirrored and #3 Embossed Mirrored**
6. Select Image #3 and Choose Effects/Plugins/FM Tools/Seamless Tile-Horizontal and use default settings.

7. Again choose Effects Plugins/Fm Tools/Seamless Tile-and check Vertical-use default settings. This will give the image to use for the background.

8. Open a new image 1025 X (height of your image #3)
white background.
9. Choose
your flood fill bucket
and on the color palette
use these settings

10. Click
on the Style Square
and another window will open browse to Image #3 and flood fill your white
background. Your image should look like this

11. Still working on our background. Select Layers/New Raster Layer/Click OK and flood fill this layer with white.
12. Open your Layer Palette by clicking on L

I usually set my opacity to 50. Select Layers/Merge All Flatten.
13. Open the 3D Bar mask, you can download it here
Press Shift D to duplicate it. Select Image/Mirror on the duplicated image.
14. Select Image #1. Choose Masks /New From Image and select the 3D Bar Mask. Click OK
Choose Mask/Invert.
15. While Image #1 is still selected choose Edit/Copy, Now click on your background and Edit/Paste As A New Layer. Position it on the left making sure that it is lined up.
16. Effect/Plugins/Fm Tile Tools/Seamless and select vertical with default settings. Click OK.
15. Select Image #2. Choose Masks /New From Image and select the Mirrored Mask. Click OK/ Masks/Invert
16. While Image #2 is still selected choose Edit/Copy, Now click on your background and Edit/Paste As A New Layer. Position it on the right making sure that it is lined up.
17. Effect/Plugins/Fm Tile Tools/Seamless and select vertical with default settings. Click OK.
Layers/Merge/Merge All Flatten
Double click on your selections tool and crop of 5px from the bottom of your graphic. Select Image/Crop To Selection. Sometimes the 3D Bar Mask leaves a gap at the bottom. Your Finished Image should look like this.

18. Save as a .jpg
