Use of a correspondence courses does not, alone, constitute a school under compulsory school attendance laws. 1984 Op Atty Gen, No 84-12. p. 42.  Anyone using the correspondence curriculum (The curriculum work that has to be sent back in to the curriculum supplier, should reconsider using that curriculum.  A Beka has the complete curriculum you have in your home and the correspondence curriculum.  (We highly suggest you use the in home curriculum that you do not have to send any curriculum information back to any company!)  If you choose to use a correspondence curriculum, you must use it in conjunction with other well  documented  curriculum  in all mandated subjects, in order to be compliant with SC Code of law Section 59-65-47, due to the 1984 Op Atty Gen, No 84-12. p. 42.
