The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Florence

Unitarian Universalist Association

The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Florence was formed in 2001. We will soon be affiliated as a member congregation of the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) and will be affiliated with the Thomas Jefferson District Office of the UUA in Charlotte, NC. We work closely with All Souls Waccamaw Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Myrtle Beach and the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Columbia.


Tentative Mission Statement

We are an inclusive, caring community that fosters spiritual growth through worship, fellowship, and service.

Worship Services

We normally hold a public worship service every 2nd Sunday of the month from 7 pm until 8 pm at Temple Beth Israel (316 Park Street in Florence). Contact John Mattox (JMattox@sc.rr.com; or phone, (843) 661-1078) to find out about pending services.
