Movie Star

    Thought you may enjoy this story. Sandy and I went to see the movie You've Got Mail . I'll give it 3 stars. Now my story. We arrived at the theater just before the movie started. We rushed in to get our tickets, the $65 box of popcorn and the $35 softdrink. Walked into the crowded dark theater and attempted to find seats. Lucky us! Two empty seats on the end of a row, my favorite kind. Remember I got the giant $35 drink.
    Sandy goes in first and sits down. Now its my turn to sit down while attempting to hold $100 worth of food. Just as I sat down, the chair collapsed. Straight to the floor I go with a sound very close to that of lightning striking a volkswagon. Scared the hell out of the 300 pound man sitting next to Sandy. The rest of the people thought it very funny. There I was, pinned to the floor in a mass of rubble in the dark. My first thought was that I was in an earthquake. I saw my life and $65 worth of popcorn flash before my eyes My second thought was that I needed a good lawyer. I am happy to say that all is well, no broken bones. My career as a movie critic has just ended.  Happy New Year!
